Iowa State Trail Riders, Inc strive to create a welcoming community that promotes diversity, inclusivity, and respect for all. Our mission is to provide an opportunity where club members can connect, learn, and grow together. ISTRI started in the early/mid 1970s with a group of friends who enjoyed trail riding on horses and mules around the Boone, Iowa area. Officially becoming a nonprofit organization in 1978. The club hosted 2-day rides, fun shows, and eventually expanded the ride locations beyond the Boone County area with the single day rides and campouts that we enjoyed today.
